Sticky - "Peel It n Stick" Backing is for all of your hooping needs!

It is a tear away backing with a self adhesive back.

Works especially great for fleece blankets, socks, caps, burp rags and many other hard to hoop items.  Use it for velvet or other items that are hard to hoop!

NOTE:  Sticky backing is obviously 'sticky'.  :-)  We have tried numerous Sticky backings and have found the two brands we sell far out-perform other brands.  The needle will heat up during embroidery due to friction.  This heat also adds to the gummy needles.  High humidity also affects the gummy nature of this product.  If you experience gummy needles, here are some tips that others have found to work regardless of brand: 

1. Store the product in a cool place
2. some people put the Sticky in the FREEZER for 15 minutes before use
3. Wipe your needles down with sewing machine oil or alcohol using q-tips or cotton, before, during and after use to keep them clean.
4. Float a tearaway under the sticky and a Solvy on top to help keep the needles clean.  Some people take this a step further and spray the tearaway with a silicone lubricant called CRC heavy duty lubricant - found in the auto supply section of stores
5. Position a fan blowing on your machine during use to keep the needle area cooler
6. Some people have no problems with gummy needles, and some people do have problems.  It is best to be aware and watch for gummy residue to build up on the needles.  This product performs better in a cooler house temperature with little or no humidity.  I use it in TEXAS, and have no problems by simply keeping my house temperature cool, and storing my Sticky in a cool place.
